One New Jersey Lottery Ticket Wins $150,000
as Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $90,000,000
TRENTON (March 2, 2020) – One New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Saturday, Feb. 29, drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. That ticket was purchased with Powerplay, multiplying the prize to $150,000. The winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold at Valero, 391 Route 9 South, Englishtown in Monmouth County.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, Feb. 29, drawing were: 24, 44, 46, 50 and 51. The Red Power Ball number was 13. The Multiplier number was 03. In addition to the third-tier prizewinning tickets sold, there were 23,863 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $133,168 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Lottery Executive Director James Carey. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $90,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, March 4, at 10:59 pm.
