One New Jersey Lottery Ticket Wins $200,000
and Two Tickets Win $50,000
as Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $277,000,000
TRENTON (Jan. 9, 2020) – Three New Jersey Lottery tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, Jan. 8 drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. One of those tickets was purchased with Powerplay, multiplying the prize to $200,000. The winning tickets from Wednesday night’s drawing were sold at the following locations:
- Morris County ($200,000): Linda’s Deli, 248 Main St., Lincoln Park;
- Bergen County ($50,000): HK Circle Mini Mart, 411 East Madison Ave., Dumont; and
- Ocean County ($50,000): BJ’S Wholesale Club #100, 941 Route 37 W., Toms River.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Jan. 8, drawing were: 02, 04, 07, 43 and 56. The Red Power Ball number was 22. The Multiplier number was 04. In addition to the third-tier prizewinning tickets sold, there were 38,368 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $231,736 in prizes ranging from $4 to $400, according to Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $277,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, Jan. 11, at 10:59 pm.
