One New Jersey Lottery Ticket Wins $1,000,000
Six New Jersey Tickets Won $50,000

TRENTON (Oct. 18, 2018) – There was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched five of the five white balls drawn for the Wednesday, October 17 drawing winning the $1,000,000 second-tier prize. If that ticket had been purchased with Power Play, it would have multiplied the prize to $2,000,000. The winning ticket from Wednesday night’s drawing was sold at Shoprite, 1153 Valley Rd., Stirling in Morris County.

In addition to the second-tier prizewinning ticket sold, there were six New Jersey Lottery tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, Oct. 17th drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. If those tickets had been purchased with the Power Play Multiplier option, they would have been worth $150,000. The winning tickets from Wednesday night’s drawing were sold at the following locations:

• Bergen County: Schuyler Foods, 574 Schuyler Ave., North Arlington;

• Essex County: The Wine Rack, 186 Essex St., Millburn;

• Monmouth County: Sungate Mini Mart, 427 Prospect St., Long Branch;

• Morris County: Quick Chek #60, 440 Main Rd., Towaco;

• Morris County: Quick Chek #74, 2 Parsippany Rd., Whippany; and

• Somerset County: Stop & Shop #809, 940 Easton Ave., Somerset.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Oct. 17th drawing were: 03, 57, 64, 68 and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 15. TheMultiplier number was 03. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $430,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, Oct. 20th at 10:59 pm.

Moreover, there were 125,281 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $637,793 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey.

“Congratulations to all of the lottery players who purchased winning tickets and to the retailers that sold them,” said Carey. “I’d like to remind players to purchase their Powerball tickets with a winning attitude and add Power Play to the ticket purchase. Power Play doubles the second prize from one million dollars to two million dollars and multiplies all of the seven lower prize sets available in the game by the number drawn that evening. The jackpot prize is not multiplied.”
